In this session, we take a closer look at proprioception, including what it looks like when children are seeking to strengthen the proprioceptive sense, and how to create environments and opportunities for children to gain the input that they need.

In this session, attendees will gain an overview of the general concept of schema, and then explore the Trajectory schema specifically, including creating environments for supporting trajectory, and identifying and documenting the trajectory schema.

In this session, we will explore practical strategies for interactions, environments and resources that support healthy social and emotional development, and discuss what to do if we are concerned about a child's social and emotional development as they prepare to transition to school.
- Supporting Healthy Attachment
This session will explore the role of the educator in developing attachment, and how our environments, routines and interactions can impact on that. We'll also look at common perceived concerns or challenges when it comes to attachment in education and care services.
- Effective Supervision: Making a Supervision Plan that Works
In this session, we explore Supervision Plans. We'll talk about why we need one, how to create one, and the challenges that can arise if we "get it wrong".
- Science Experiments: Entertainment vs Opportunity
In this session, we will explore different ways to approach science experimentation and exploration with children.
- Put Down That Baby! Independence vs Interdependence
In this session, attendees will reflect on the importance of responsiveness and connection with infants, while recognising the need for independent exploration and discovery.
- Who are group times really for?
In this session, we'll unpack the challenges of group times, and the frequently discussed idea that we "need" to do group times so children learn to sit still, or learn to listen. Attendees will be encouraged to reflect on the why and the how of group times.
